On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, inpatients and community members gathered at Lyndhurst Centre (520 Sutherland Drive, Toronto) for a truly heartwarming Peer Connections Holiday Concert featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Howard Gladstone.

From the first chord to the final notes, the evening embodied the spirit of the holiday season—a chance to pause, connect, and feel supported together. At the height of the performance, more than 50 people filled the Lyndhurst lobby, creating an atmosphere rich with warmth, music, and community connection.

Welcome back, Howard — and thank you

We were honoured to welcome Howard back to Lyndhurst Centre, a place that holds personal meaning for him. After previously receiving care here and making a strong recovery, Howard has remained deeply committed to giving back to the community.

His music—and the story behind it—is rooted in resilience and the healing power of creative expression. A Toronto-born singer-songwriter, Howard released Hourglass, an album inspired by his recovery journey, and continues to share hope through his work, including his release Crazy Talk.

Thank you, Howard, for sharing your talent, your time, and your heart with our community.

Thank you to our volunteers and the SCIO GTA Peer Team

Events like this don’t happen without dedicated people behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank you to our GTA Peer Team, volunteers, and staff who helped welcome guests, support accessibility needs, coordinate logistics, and create such a warm and inclusive environment. Your care and commitment are what turn Peer Connections into meaningful connection.

Thank you to our sponsor

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our event sponsor, McLeish Orlando LLP. Your support helps make community-building events like this possible and ensures opportunities for peer connection and belonging are available when they’re needed most.

See you at the next Peer Connections event
