SCIO’s Peer Support Volunteer Training – Scenario-Based Training will offer an engaging virtual learning experience for prospective volunteers across Ontario. Hosted on Microsoft Teams, this 2-hour session will bring participants together in a roundtable format to read, discuss, and respond to peer support scenarios to demonstrate and develop practical skills.
To be eligible, participants must complete preliminary Peer Support Volunteer training requirements: (1) Volunteer screening call, (2) SCI-Alberta Peer Support Training Certificate before August 4.
When: Wednesday, August 5, 2-26
Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
