Thank you so much for attending our Virtual Comedy Night! Your generosity last night raised over $20,000 for programs and services that will center and celebrate the lives of people living with spinal cord injury.
The generosity of your gift is already hard at work as your support increases our capacity to meet people in big and small communities across Ontario. Thank you for helping us chip away at the stubborn, systemic inequities that exist for people with disabilities. Your heart-centered investment will offer pathways to better care, transforming the lives of countless families who are struggling.
This year’s event was made possible because of an incredible cadre of volunteers. We benefited from the wisdom and magnificent leadership of two committees: our Southwestern Ontario Professionals committee and our Young Professionals committee. Together, they reimagined our cancelled events by opening a Virtual Comedy Club and generously offering the gift of laughter and hope to over 300 people.
The beauty of that confluence – laughter and hope – provides us with a way forward towards a future where laughter is abundant, community is cherished and the hope for a fully inclusive Ontario is realized.
