Funding for Insufflator/Exsufflator "ventilators"?
Does anyone know where to apply for funding for this assistive device? The equipment ventalator pool in Ontario does not have this device in their loaner pool nor can you apply for this device to be funded through the assistive devices programme. How are people getting this equipment? It is very expensive.

another source of funding
you might try contacting the Assistive Devices program, the contact is
Maureen.Williams@ontario.ca
Try contacting
Try contacting http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/pub/drugs/trillium.html. They provide drug assistance when other assistance is not available... they might do the same thing for equipment. Just a thought.
SCI Solutions Group
Just read an article in the new issue of the SCI Solutions mag about funding for a mattress for pressure relief...I wonder if same could be applied for this situation...
Good luck,
